How to Connect to an ATI Straton

Users must be connected to the ATI Straton LED to take advantage of all its programming features. Establishing this connection will allow you to harness the full power of your Straton’s and ensure that they are perfectly programmed for your reefing needs. Please keep reading to understand how to connect to an ATI Straton.
Connection Methods
There are two ways to connect to your Straton lights. Option one is to connect directly to the lights with a Wi-Fi-enabled device like a cell phone, and option two is to add the lights to your local Wi-Fi network.
Which method is right for you?
The reality is that most folks add their lights to their home Wi-Fi network, which makes accessing and updating the lights more convenient. However, there are situations where connecting directly to the lights makes more sense.

Connecting Directly to Your Straton
Please note: You will first need to connect to your light directly before it can be added to your wireless network.
- Plug your Straton light into an outlet and wait for the fixture to boot up.
- Locate the Ethernet port on the black box between the silver power supply and the light fixture. There will be two light indicators next to the port.
- The light indicator closest to the power cord should be illuminated green. The 2nd light indicator on the Ethernet port should be off.
- Go to your wireless network settings and search for available Wi-Fi networks on your preferred wireless device.
- You should see a wireless network labeled “ATI_Straton_” followed by a set of digits. For example, “ATI_Straton_68413672165”.
- Select the network and connect. No password is required.
- After connecting, the 2nd light indicator on the Ethernet port should blink green.
- Open your preferred internet browser and type 192.168.100.1 into the address bar to access the fixtures log-in screen.
